General
What is Meithiran Learning Community (MLC)?
MLC is a learning community where mentors earn 35%, cohorts are max 5 learners, and learning happens through real company projects. We're built on transparency and fairness for all stakeholders.
How is MLC different from other learning platforms?
Three key differences: (1) Small cohorts of max 5 learners for personal attention, (2) 35% of fees go to mentors - the highest in the industry, (3) Real company projects through Applied Experience, not simulations.
What is the Foundational Law?
The Foundational Law is our immutable constitution that governs all MLC operations. It includes rules that cannot be changed, like the 35% mentor share and max 5 cohort size.
Where is MLC based?
Our administrative office is in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India. However, all our programs are delivered online and accessible globally.
For Learners
How do I enroll in a program?
Browse programs, express interest through the form, and our team will contact you. Once payment is confirmed (currently offline via bank transfer or UPI), you'll be enrolled in the next cohort.
How many people are in a cohort?
Maximum 5 learners per cohort. This is immutable - we will never increase cohort sizes. Small cohorts ensure personal attention from mentors.
What is an Applied Experience Project?
AEP connects you with real company projects. You work on actual business problems under mentor supervision, building portfolio pieces that employers value.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, upon successful completion and mentor certification of your competence. Certificates are only issued when the mentor confirms you've achieved the learning outcomes.
Can I see where my fee goes?
Yes! Our fee breakdown is completely transparent: 35% to mentors, 21% to community building, 15% operations, 12% technology, 10% marketing, 7% infrastructure.
For Mentors
How much do mentors earn?
35% of every program fee - the highest mentor share in the industry. This is immutable and governed by our Foundational Law.
Do I design my own curriculum?
Yes, you design your program based on your expertise. We provide guidance and support, and the Council reviews to ensure quality standards.
How do you find learners for my program?
We handle marketing and learner acquisition. When enough interest is gathered, we form a cohort of max 5 and assign them to your program.
What support do mentors receive?
We handle operations, payments, technology, and learner acquisition. You focus on teaching. We also provide curriculum guidance and platform tools.
How does mentor payment work?
Currently, after learner payments are confirmed, mentor share (35%) is distributed. Payment is made via bank transfer.
For Partners
What is an AEP partnership?
AEP partners provide real projects for learners to work on. You get real work done by mentor-supervised talent, and you own all deliverables and IP.
Who owns the project deliverables?
Partners own all project deliverables and intellectual property. This is clearly defined upfront. Learners retain portfolio rights without proprietary details.
How is quality ensured?
Every project is supervised by an experienced mentor who guides learners and reviews all deliverables before submission to ensure professional standards.
What does partnership cost?
AEP partnerships can be no-cost (you provide experience, we provide talent) or paid depending on project scope. We discuss options during partnership setup.
What is operational partnership?
Organizations can partner to provide operations (15%), technology (12%), marketing (10%), or infrastructure (7%) services and earn their respective revenue share.
